"Alphabetize or die!" That was the motto stapled to the shelves of our shared vinyl record and cassette tapes, when I was in college. 
I typically alphabetize, but I'm down to only 4-1/2 ft of shelf space for tabletop books. Which includes my TT miniature books, but they only occupy half a shelf. About 4 years ago I gave a good portion of my TT books and board game collection to my sons, since they were already borrowing them and being very casual about returning them. With only a small collection now, mine are organized by series and editions, which has worked well.

I started collecting the battle mats, map tiles, and pawn sets that Paizo makes for Pathfinder and Starfinder. Some of the older Flip-Mats and map tile sets have gone out of print and become hard to find, and some pawn sets are now unobtainable at any price except in digital form (PDF or VTT).
I see you have the Haunted House and Wasteland Flip-Mats, which have become particularly scarce. It took me a while but I managed to get those two from small hobby shops and independent book stores. Desert Ruins was another one that was very tough to find. I even have the coveted Ambush Sites Multi-Pack, which has never been reprinted for the Flip-Mat Classics line despite being used in a number of popular Pathfinder Society adventures. Noble Knight Games is pretty good for buying and selling rare RPG and war game accessories like these.
Now to actually get it together and run a real game...

The only item on your shelf I don't think I've seen before was that Star Trek RPG box set. I've seen the books, but never knew they had a box set for the Star Trek RPG.
It may be that I really didn't start being interested as much in Star Trek (extras, such as RPGs and things beyond the show itself) stuff until after 2000, so rather late in my life.
