I need a blaster...

...but I'm not sure what course to take or how he should be played. So, i'll give to the fine folks of ENWorld to help me out!

Here's the guidelines:

level 13
gestalt
95,000gp
40 point stats (1-1 basis instead of standard point-buy)

Other characters in the group are a wizard/rogue (specializes in precision-based spells), soceror/cleric (focused in healing/teleporting around), and a rogue/fight (went shadowdancer and is a dex-based fighter).

So tell me, what are your ideas =)

Edit: If you have another idea of what I should play, please feel free to say what you think.

Warblade/Psion(kineticist)

Team stuff from the warblade side (via white raven school mostly) and heavy blasting from the psion side (plus some other stuff).

Max out Intelligence whenever possible, other statistics to taste. With that amount and point buy you can start with an 18, get a +6 enhancement item, +3 from levels, and +1 inherant bonus.

You. Will. Simply. Rule.

Since this is gestalt with a high PB amount, unless you are using some variant, I think the main question is what do you want your secondary focus to be?

Synergy can be found between 2 jobs fairly easily with gestalts. We just need to know what the 2nd job is- meleeing, scouting, tanking, varied spellcasting, etc.

More to the point, would it be incorrect to assume you only want to blast and don't care how defensively minded your character is?

Also, how much should the niches left by the other players be considered?

warmage/favored soul.

Take advantage of the max save boost that the favored soul gives you. The warmage will allow you to focus on blasting (assuming that's really the focus you want...). Use the favored soul to get a few bonus heal spells, the full regiment of summon monster I - IX (or planar ally - or both sets), and any type of defense/buff/movement spells you want on the cleric list.

You'll be pretty good to go. Just do yourself a huge favor and don't pick too many offensive clerical spells (unless they don't involve saves). Because you'll have plenty of offense from your warmage side.

Well, the best gestalt blaster seems to be taken already by the wizard/rogue.

If you really want to just blast away all day long, try wizard/warmage. You've got the stats for it.

You can use the wizard side for some important utilities (overland flight, for example), get lots of useful bonus metamagic feats with your wizard levels, and load up with quickened wizard spells so you can blast away with warmage spells, then follow up with a quickened wizard blast. Best of both worlds.

Psionic powers provide some serious blasting potential. Psion/wizard provides you with lots of spell/power options, but means that your HD and saves don't improve. Warblade might be a good choice, especially since psions can use their powers in armor. Monk might be another good option for improving your defenses.

I don't think blaster's work real well here....

Some options I'd consider:
Crusader/Marshal. Done right you will be the buffer of all buffers.
Wizard/Warblade. A very very good gish. Toss in some spellsword for the armor and you are set. Spells should be mostly buffing/poly.
(rogue 11,swordsage 1 (take the +2d6 backstab stance))/ranger12. That's a lot of attacks and silly damage. 6 attacks for +8d6 damage each should hurt.

I agree the psions will do well in a gestalt game, but we don't use em....

the caster/psionic classes sound interesting, but my DM won't allow anything from Book of 9 swords. As for my secondary role(s), that's where my conundrum really is. My previous character was a fighter/duskblade, but i don't really feel like getting back into melee any time soon.

The other characters are pretty good at what they do, what we lack is a heavy-armored fighter, and an artillery platform, so i chose the latter. warmage/warlock is a good one, not sure if my DM would allow it tho (too much cheese, maybe).
