I need names

Cleofax and Hexel (And to a lesser extent, Moonstone) are the names I'm least happy with.

Unfortunately, I can't just call them "the queen" or "your majesty" all the time, but if I can't come up with good names, titles might at least disguiese the bad ones.

Hexel isn't so bad, but maybe you can tweak it. Perhaps Hexellia, or something like that... I like that she has 'hex' in her name.
I would make the king's name just be Cleo or maybe Leo is better.
For the queen, since she's passed and if it's not really necessary to use her proper name, I'd just have people use "The Queen", "Her Majesty", etc when speaking about her. The king can say "My Wife" or when speaking to his daughter, "your Mother". The fact that people don't use her name would mean she was beloved by all and that they miss her since her passing so much that her name isn't spoken out loud much.
I like Mr. & Mrs. Hedgehog and Mr. Fox isn't so bad either. I looked up what's latin for fox and for the red fox is 'vulpes vulpes'. :\ What about a synonym for 'sly', seeing as the saying is "sly as a fox"?
Good luck and as a fan of fairy tales, I wouldn't mind maybe seeing the story posted her when it's done.

Give the 'goodies' English-sounding names and the 'badies' non-English ones.

This may seem nationalist but is actually fairly common in literature.

Search on Google for the "Everchanging Book of Names". I use it all the time to come up with names in my D&D games. You can choose name types from different literary genres including Arthurian and Tolkien just to name a couple.

I like all the names you've chosen. I think Mr. Fox sounds good, especially since it's a bit misleading if the character is supposed to be sinister.

@Calico Jack - thanks for mentioning that site. I'll have to look that one up! :)
