It was great fun. There was this pervading sense of dread throughout the whole game, that I've never experienced in D&D before. Very creepy stuff.
I played an Archeologist, Evan Kartofsky, a Russian/Polish man with a gift for languages and an interest in the supernatural. At the behest of the DM, I took the Psychic Sensitive feat. Yeah, my character will be insane in a short while.
The whole game was an amalgamation of d20 Modern and Cthulhu, so the group consisted of a Fast Hero, a Tough Hero, and a Smart Hero (me).
The single biggest highlight of the game occured when I proceeded to thwack an animated corpse in the head with a toilet cover. Good times.
Anyone else have any fun Cthulhu stories?
