Wise words, but could you possibly rephrase that the way Mama Snarf originally told it to you?

I've gone long stretches through the years where some of my hobbies faded into the background for a while (ttRPG, MtG, comics, genealogy, reading and posting poetry, etc...), sometimes missing a decade - like in the case of MtG - and most of them came back when the urge hit again.

I asked the developer for a couple weeks to decide while I finish up (hopefully) another project.

I'm torn, to say the least. Part of me is just yelling at myself to stop being such a wuss, and other helpful GenX self talk.

My advice: if it would overall fun and satisfaction, do it. Going out on a happy note is good. I’d not, don’t. Going out without more unrewarding grind for the sake of maintaining standing is also good.

Out of curiosity, are you still working in the industry?

No, between caring for Mom and her Alzheimer’s and my own growing pile of health problems, it hasn’t been possible. Book of Oblivion development was my exit.
