I think the D&D line needs a "Bridge" product

The set should progress to at least level 5. The adventure game, AFAIK, doesn't allow character advancement. This is not good.

Just clarifying things, but the adventure game includes character advancement to level 2 (woohoo). The additional abilities are fixed (no selection of skills of your choice) and feats are not used.

Definitely agreed about level 5. You can have quite a few good games at low levels!
