I want to start a blog. What do I do?

I tried MSN Spaces once and hated it.

The blog on my site is published with Blogger, and I love it. Easy to use, feature rich, lots of templates, and a great FAQ.

They're all free - so don't hesitate to open up a couple of accounts at different places and post in each of them a few times to get a feel for them.

I stick with MSN Spaces (you can view my blog at http://spaces.msn.com/members/mojo1701a), and I haven't been disappointed. I would never use LiveJournal strictly because of the connotation of the users.

I've been using Livejournal for a year and a half, and have loved it (http://www.livejournal.com/users/wingsandsword/).

Yes, it has quite the "community" feel, which I see as a perk. It's where all my friends (IRL) have their blogs, and we keep in touch through there (among other ways). Frankly, I don't know anybody IRL who has a blog at any other site.
