IA: A Teacher for Laynie

*The night is uneventful, and the morning greets Vanitri with the scent of sweet smelling spices, cinnamon among them.*

"I know we bought meals with this room, but if worse comes to worse and we run low on money, we could always sleep in the wilds and eat of my magical berries," Mearran mentions quietly to Vanitri when he sees the other man awake.

*Laynie is still cuddled up peacefully in her blankets.*

(OOC: I'm trying to terr up three DT threads. I just feel bad for poor Thanee having to wait)

"I believe we have the money for another night here between the two of us, and then we'll journy to the accademy. We can make do on our own on our way back, assuming the little lady can wow them into accepting her," Vanitri says.

OOC: Yup, I understand. Like I mentioned before the crash, a sum up of the classes is fine to get Thanee back involved. Priya will probably have dinner with "Feddy", and maybe pick his brain on the other classes while he spounts off compliments to her. She'd have no problem inviting him to her room to talk, and that's as far as anything would go, mostly because she's too excited about spelljamming to focus on much else. And that gets us to the last day of classes, which gets Thanee involved again :)

*Mearran nods.*

"Very well then. Just putting it out there just in case."

(OOC: The problem is that there are two other concurrent sequences going on, so I can't just do that)

Vanitri nods, "Yes, it is worth noting. Let's let her have a good day around the city today at least, and the 'folk have made it through with less."

Vanitri wakes up Laynie and takes her down for breakfast once she's ready.

OOC: ahh, didn't know.

*Laynie wakes up quickly at Vanitri's touch, and she grins excitedly.*

"Are we going to see something fun today?"

*They head downstairs, smelling the scent of spices as they do, until they reach the little dining room, where a warm breakfast has been cooked up by the innkeeper's wife. Unusual pastries of various sorts lie atop the table, smelling of various sweet-smelling fruits and spices, of which cinnamon is recognisable. A bacon and spiced egg dish of some sort lies atop a pan, simmering over a flattened platter that is heated by a small fire below.*

"Well, not that I remember, just that she would see us tomorrow."

OOC: She did actualy get directions to where we were staying like I said I gave her, correct?
