IA: A Teacher for Laynie

[Rystil Arden]

(OOC: Yep, she got directions. She did not, however, give a time )

"Oh, okay. So what do we do now?" Laynie seems to have gotten herself all excited with a combination of anticipation and sugary breakfast, and now she is bubbling about.

 

[Bront]

"Well, we can certaintly go look for her, perhaps she's at the guild hall."

Vanitri will leave a note with the inkeeper for Trina, and then head out to where he was last night, with Laynie and Merrean (if he wants) in tow.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Mearran decides to stay behind in case Trina shows up.*

*Laynie and Vanitri head off to the Guild Hall. Upon walking inside, they see a group of people in frilly clothes carrying musical instruments who look at them oddly.*

 

[Bront]

Vanitri chuckles, "I take it the Acrobat's Guild is gone now?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

*One of the musicians glances sideways at Vanitri's chuckling, and he sniffs.*

"Yes, that is correct. The Guild Hall is now in use by the Musician's Guild."

 

[Bront]

"Who'd have thunk you only had one guild hall to share." Vanitri says. "Well, let's head back and see if she's waiting."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"There are several guilds that do have their own guild halls. However, a consortium of the smaller guilds decided that we didn't need to each have a full-time building for guild meetings and that it would be far more cost effective to share one. Working together towards harmony is good, don't you agree, outlander?"

 

[Bront]

"I'm still tryin to figure out the whole guild thing, but cheeper and working togeather is a good thing, yes."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Working together for the good of all--that is the way of the guild. Now if you'll excuse us, we have business to which to attend."

 

[Bront]

"Of course, I was just leaving," Vanitri says.

He heads back to the Inn.
