"Oh, the little one from the Inn? How nice."

"I think he said it was a bit of a treck, we might be needing a place to rest on the way."

"We'll find a place when it gets late enough," Vanitri says. "Merraen, perhaps we can pick up the pace a bit?"

Vanitri looks at his horse, at the Merraen's mount, and then Merraen.

"I suppose so...it might have been faster if we hadn't brought the horses--it is tough going leading them over the cracked cobblestones and narrow twisting streets.*

(OOC: You brought the horses?)

(OOC: It is close enough to be feasible to walk, and it isn't paved. So let's say they didn't?)

*The trio continues onward at an easy pace for Vanitri to compensate for Mearran and Laynie's smaller strides. The girl and the katara seem a bit out of breath, however, by the time they pass the dried-out fountain Laynie had spotted and reach the fallen tower.*

"Let's take a quick break here, shall we?"

Vanitri looks around at the fountain and the tower, looking for a cool spot to sit.
