As the bolt is released you hear a mocking laughter from outside the building, your prayers answered as the bolt not only strikes, but the sorcerer rolls a 2 on his concentration. The various daemonspawn disappear into the aether.

The sorcerer curses something. "Ajokli? Cegorach? What manner of god do you call to elf? This place is not for their eyes!"

He casts frostbite (DC 14) for [roll0] cold damage against Thael in retaliation, then stepping back.

Kilvo rends the distracted sorcerer through his wards. The hole in his chest expands and cracks as his center mass starts to be pulled inside itself. A small shrunken head along his belt, one marked with two twisted horns, begins to cackle. "Sorcerer, your pact is complete. Now I am your master, now and forever."
