Standing over the body of the other barbarian, Kubeba looks mildly disappointed. It hadn't felt like a glorious battle, certainly nothing that would honour his lost tribe mates. Maybe somewhere in this forsaken hole there was a foe worthy enough and his people would smile at his deeds.

Never one to wallow in emotion he shrugged then grinned. With a loping run he advanced towards the illusionary wall. "Yoo hoo!" he called and laughed.

Thaliss says "now be gone" out loud, and the metallic wall seems to evaporate in mist and then dissipate. He incants more arcane words, and a solid wall appears around Maighan, Carradoc and him. His companions can see through it though.

Thaliss telepathically says to the barbarian "We are still here friend, this will help with our aim".

Carradoc points his fist at a point between the two spellcasters and, as he opens it, says "Flame on". His fingers dance for a few seconds as a fireball forms.

Fire damage [roll0] or Dex save DC 16 for half.

The fireball, eldritch blasts, and Kubeba are able to drop the three remaining enemies before they are able to retaliate again.

A twenty-foot-wide moat divides this shrine into northern and southern halves. In the north half, two large stone pillars flank an altar in the form of a plain stone block. A few coins lie on the altar. Above and behind the altar looms a huge symbol made from beams of driftwood, fixed in an X-like shape on the wall. A single stone door leads westward from this part of the room.

In the southern half of the room, two ten-foot-wide channels run along the east and west walls of the shrine, spilling out through low culverts to the south. Two more pillars stand here, and a low stone bridge leads across the dividing channel to the altar and the northern part of the room.

You find 108 gold pieces between the altar and the defeated enemies, as well as a shark-toothed longsword that deals an extra 1d8 damage against unarmored opponents. The water in this room flows in from somewhere, and out towards the rest of the temple.
