D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil II

River Song

Explorer
Kubeba runs quickly up to the spellcaster and attacks with his axe. His long loping stride took him there easily and he saw the light of fear in their eyes.

Carradoc misses, Kubeba strikes the spellcaster hard, but she is able to avoid the second blow. Thalliss lands both spells (I don't see the dice rolls but not overly concerned) and Maighan still has an action.

First Post
In a by-now familiar spell, Maighan summons strange fungal creepers and twisted vines from the surface that flow through cracks in the stone of the chamber and twine around several of the occupants!

(Entangle on the three southernmost peeps; creating a zone of difficult terrain around them and restraining them unless they make a Dex save of DC 16)

One of the soldiers avoids being entangled, but the others are.

The stonemelder (spellcaster lady) casts Erupting Earth on Carradoc, Maighan, and Thaliss for [roll0] bludgeoning damage, dex save dc 13 for half. She yells at her guard to "disrupt the druid!" The tunnel area is now difficult terrain.

The one free guard follows the order to the best of his ability and gets as far as Thaliss. One attack threatens to hit (24) for all of 5 points of damage. Since it's only 5, I guess shield will not be used.

There's not an immediate reaction around the arcane eye, but the burrowshark takes an instinctive bit of attention.

OOC: Dex saves, possible concentration saves and parties turn.

OOC: I understand now what you meant earlier about the die rolls. I can't see the damage from erupting earth...
dex save: [roll0]

Thaliss feels the shock from the stones bursting out of the ground, and is hit by the guard now in front of him. His instincts take control, and the guard gets surrounded by hellish flames.

OOC: cast hellish rebuke as a reaction: 2d10+5 [roll1] fire damage, dex save DC16 for half, and fire resistance does not apply

Next round:

Thaliss then summons more flames in front of him, looking forward for the guard to burn even more. As this happens, multiple copies of him seem to appear out of nowhere.
