Sensing the combat is overmatched in favor of their group, Aridha decides not to spend overmuch resources...she draws her scimitar and rushes in to attack!

(First turn moves into position to attack the gentleman to the east of Tolan. Second turn, attack. If the gentleman falls, she will then move into position on the next nearest surviving bandit and attack the third turn. If he does not, her third turn attack will be on the same fellow. lol...three turns. Three turns! Oy. I am gonna hafta work harder on checking in!)

(1st turn - move and move)
(2nd turn - Attack [roll0] for [roll1] damage.)
(3rd turn - Either Move and attack (if the first one is dead) or attack and move (if he is not). [roll2] for [roll3] damage.)

Aridha catch'up: Aridha moves up, attacks, and kills the reaver.

The remaining bandits fight to the end, but don't put up much of a fight. When all is said and done, you have one bandit that remained restrained the entire time. Like Lars before him, he seems to want to surrender. "Ack. I didn't want to take this job anyway. Crazy priest's orders. I don't mean no harm." He's obviously physically hung over.

Thaliss recognizes him as Tom.

Tolan lets out a deep breath as he calms himself and drops back into his usual self. He looks around at the destruction wrought around the clearing as he didn't remember causing any of it.

He looks over at the remaining bandit, even as he begins cleaning his sword and sorting through the bodies.

"Well, let's start from the top. What, exactly, were these orders?"

"Something from on high. We were looking for some 'meg named Shoalar. Something about visions from the prophet. That 'meg was always going on about visions and prophets though." He points his finger at the priest. "We took those two rowboats out, trying to find the meg's boat. We passed by here twice before I saw it. Keep is on some alert. All the creepy 'megs seem 'megged out about something."

"You're a 'meg. Anyone that's in charge is a 'meg. I don't know no prophet, but the priests say they do. They tries to getcha to convert to their crazy god. Ritual drowning and all that crazy business. Not fer me. I just signed on to do repair work on the keep, was promised pay, but they scooped me up for this cause I got good eyes. I think the prophet's a person, cause they talk like they talk to him on the regular, but he ain't never been round the keep while eyes der."

Damien/Tolan/Dent/Aridha: The man seems to be lying about the repair work part of his story. Or at least concealing something. He has an obvious tell, he scratches his head when he lies.

Carradoc seems distracted during the interview, not really paying attention, and constantly shifting his vision to the North, to the river, to the bodies... all around. (assuming no untoward movement from any of those three...)

Eventually, he wanders off on his own to inspect the bodies. He heads first to the priest.
