Damien pointed out the window and said, "Just assuming half of those things come to life when we get out there and I think we've got problems. If we can find a door we could lock, maybe we could take a quick break. But probably not here, they seemed like they were ready for us in this space."

"Nothing down here." Dent shut the door. If there was a bolt, he slid that in place, too. "Just a hallway with more doors. I could do with a bit more than a brief respite, that last fight winded me. If no one else wants to leave to find a safe place to hole up, Carradoc mentioned he had some kind of a parlour trick that would give us respite for an hour or so safe from harm."

Carradoc nods at Dent. "I think I do. Yes." He reaches around for the rope he'd been given earlier.

"And we could use it here, or somewhere on the inside, where we might be able to surprise any reinforcements. Here might be a good place, or just into one of the corridors," he gestures to his right.

"The arguments made before about reinforcements and survivors still stand. If we leave this place for a week, we won't be any stronger, but they might be replenished. Staying here keeps them on the defensive, but there is no doubt that we wouldn't be able to handle another challenge like that. Still, I say we press onwards."

"Sounds like a good idea to me. How about down that east corridor? We know the garden is out in that direction, so if things turn bad, we at least have an idea of which ways might present an avenue of escape." Damien suggested, really looking forward to a nap.

OOC: Maybe setup the Rope Trick somewhere close to the M11 designation on the map?

The group creates their dimensional bungalow to hide briefly. They make no note of any seeming investigation in the monastery. From your current position it seems that there is the sound of... grunting? And sticks clacking. And sighs of pain. This seems to come from the eastern side of the monastery.

After an hour's rest inside Carradoc's rope trick, Tolan is looking remarkably better, but still tired from over-exerting himself against the welcoming committee. Still, he is ready to push on.

"Shall we see what the monastery has prepared for us next?"
