Davaros nods his head at the man's fighting spirit. Many would have simply fled, while this one wants a warrior's death. Perhaps he is worth saving. "You are outnumbered, and will die soon if you don't drop your sword. Yield, and we will spare you" The paladin says.

OOC: I do not think Whistler can get close to the former-archer (even with a move-and-dash, I think he is still 10' away, but I am happy to be corrected on that. Similarly, Bell cannot get within melee range with just a move. If both of those things are true, then she will attack with her crossbow. [roll0]. If a hit, then damage would = [roll1].

Bell launches another bolt, keeping her distance from the former ranged combatant.

The last remaining veteran glances at the approaching ape, the horse, the paladin, a spellcaster, and someone else with a ranged weapon and drops his sword.

"Fine ya got us. At yer mercy either way."

"Please unbuckle your swordbelt, if you don't mind" Davaros says as he steps down from his horse. Davaros' sword is still drawn, and if the man acquiesses, he will lower his too.

He drops his belt just fine, though he would rather have kept it.

"Ghald. Serves the Kraken Society. Pays gold to sell swords on the Sword Coast. We were told to get the box. Guard it. Not sure what it's all for. Might have been running it to Ironslag, the name come up once or twice."

OOC: Thanks -- I wasn't counting diagonals as 5. Given the surrender since then...

Bellalalalainda checks her fire, but points her crossbow menacingly.
The large gorilla draws close and picks up the dropped weapons, holding out a hand for the one in the sword belt. If he is given it without problem, he will draw back with the weapons.

The small gnome asks, "Where is the box now? You'll help us take it with us, yeah?" She really hopes the box is the size of the sphere they had seen.

"Right over there by the tomb."

He gestures in the direction of the sloshing wooden box just a bit away that was put down before the fighting started.

"Well met, Ghald!" Gul looked at the bodies and shrugged slightly, "Or at least, well for the survivors. Do you know who gave the priest his orders, and where their base is?"

Gul stared hard at the warrior while he asked his questions, moving so that he could keep sight of the wooden box at the same time. If any of the others approaches the box, he advises caution.

OOC: So the Kraken Society bid the highest at the auction for the orb, that was organised by the Yartar thieves guild, is that right?
