D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder: Waterdeep

Gul replies, "I hear your concerns, but I wouldn't like to bury it and hope that no-one finds it. Either we should take it with us, possibly use it to destroy the lair of a giant, or we could hand it over to someone like the Harpers. If you really want to keep it safe without involving anyone, I've heard of a spell which moves a chest to another plane. We could pay an archmage to do that for us, I can't yet cast the spell myself. Even if someone then locates it, it's not on this world. And that spell is specifically designed to keep things safe.."

Davaros laconically says "I like the idea of destroying a giant's lair. They are up to no good, and this would do the trick"

"That's true," says Bellalalalalinda, "but we don't know where any giant's lair are. Giants' lairs are. Giant lair is." She shakes her head. "We don't need to pay a wizard when we can just bury it somewhere, and carrying it around is like carrying a bomb with us -- it's a target if we get into any fight, and something we'd need to protect."

She is frustrated, and reaches out to Whistler for comfort, reaching up and stroking his side. "I want it available, but I'm concerned about having it with us in a fight. I don't know what to do."

Answering the frustrated gnome, Davaros says with a smirk: "How about we go and visit countess Sansuri at her castle over the Evermoors?"

"Nice idea, but we need some way to fly, in order to get up to the castle! There is also this Duke Zalto whose base is some place called Ironslag?"

"Couldn't we buy potions for all of us with the money we have, of perhaps a caster can do something to help us" Davaros answers, knowing full fell that he could buy himself plate armor with that kind of money. Perhaps another time...

Bellalalalalinda hasn't really followed all this. Her knowledge of geography is an innate thing, it comes naturally, but it's not always so go with place names. She listens carefully, as Whistler gently rubs her back.

"Ok, so both Ironslag and Countess Sansuri over the Evermoors are some distance from here. I would like to find the kobold called Lightwalker, since he is reputed to be nearby. In deference to Bella's concerns, I am happy to bury the box somewhere out of town."

As soon as day breaks, after he has rested, Gul starts making enquires about town to see if anyone knows where to find Lightwalker.

OOC:
More than happy for Davaros and anyone else to buy plate with their share of the loot:-) Creamsteak, any chance of potions of flying/Scrolls of leomunds secret chest being available please?
