Seeing the threat, Dierdre moved up to Caer's side while drawing her longsword. The zombie he was fighting toppled to the ground and she was quick to take advantage of it's prone condition, channeling her god's wrath through her sword arm.

OOC: Dierdre move up to strike the prone zombie (Z1) using true strike (radiant damage).

True strike with advantage, radiant damage: 2D20.HIGH(1)+5 = [10, 6]+5 = 15
1D8+3 = [6]+3 = 9

Seeing his companions attack the zombies bolsters Benny's confidence. He releases Maximilian in the air, and the miniature sphynx attacks the second zombie but in its hurry, it appears to fail.

OOC: Benny moves with the group, protecting the children
attack: get familiar to attack as a reaction

Familiar moves to Z2, attack: 7, damage 12 (5 radiant)

Status, having ushered a few citizens into the center of those under the protection of Anson's light, began to consider: If the dead were rising, a city that was surrounded by a sacred graveyard was, perhaps, not the safest place to be. But it had walls, and though that might make them trapped inside, there was not much to be done about it now - these people needed to be brought to safety.

He saw the two zombies blocking their way, and strode forward on long legs, following Caer and Deirdra. As the others teamed on one, he stepped up to the other. With his shield destroyed, he took his longsword in both hands and with a flashing arc, he beheaded the thing.

It's a funny thing because when one imagines an undead, it's in tattered clothes and desiccated skin but these still have the clothes they wore in life, not even moments ago. And, while Max's attack goes wide, Stratus, being a seasoned soldier cuts the head off the zombie as if he had been forced to cut down a mere peasant. It spurts blood and falls to the ground.

The other zombie, grabs Caer by the pant leg and pulls itself up, grasping Caer by the tunic,

"Kill meeee....." It whispers and then bites at the Shadar kai but Caer manages to push the creature aside.

Zombie stands then attacks Caer
zombie attack: 1D20+3 = [12]+3 = 15
1D6+1 = [1]+1 = 2

Is one of the zombies in the road still standing? If so, Anson Willoughby shoves it, trying to knock it prone. That will put him in range of the creature, his one fist still burning, as he shouts,

"To the gates! Now!"

Is the child Benny safe? Who is the blue-skinned goliath who wrecks such wrath? As he continues moving towards the gate, Anson says, "Hail, friend! Your gift is welcome. Be safe."

OOC: Shove is now a save, and so the zombie makes a str or dex save vs. DC 11 or it is knocked prone.
