"Why indeed?" asked Alara, and gestured for Korra to take the lead down the steps. She fell in behind the big half-orc.

"Anyone have any ideas for figuring out which door we need to kick in?" she asked quietly, once they were clear of the landing site.

OOC: I think I am still NPCing Ogham for @JustinCase

“Two doors,” Ogham noted. “Fifty-fifty chance. We could knock, if we do not want to kick the door in. Shall we try the first door?” he suggested.

Rotom looks at the two doors, then back to her companions. Rushing in would give them the element of surprise, but it was likely to be wasted if they picked the wrong door, or worse it could backfire. Allowing Daask to know they were crashing around next door could give the criminals enough time to escape.

"We should knock on the first door, I think." She says, with a tinge of nervousness, and her shield at the ready.

There was no answer to Korra’s knock on the door. Perhaps no one was home? Or they were ignoring her? Whatever the case, the door did not open.

Rotom was taken aback a bit by the thunderous knocking. At times, it seemed Korra had all the subtlety of a banshee. But even more surprising was the silence after the fact. Surely if anyone was in there, they would be investigating the door by now.

The artificer turned to Alara, then took out a set of lockpicks and pointed them at the door with a shrug, as if to ask if it was a good idea at this point.

Korra sees Rotom and says, "You have keys? Okay, you open. Korra was going to break door." And she steps back a step so Rotom can get next to the door.

Alara considered. On the battlefield, she'd have had Korra kick the door in without a second thought. But this might be some innocent person's door, and it would create substantial problems if they broke it open. Since Rotom seemed to be requesting her consent, she nodded.
