Whisper holds the gem out and offers it to Koregar for his inspection and safekeeping. She then proceeds to check the door.

OOC: Was this door barred from the outside like our cell?

It is in-fact barred.

Whisper leans her ear to the door, doing her best to hear if prying the gem from the door alerted anything inside.

You do in fact hear something. The creeking of nails being pried out of wood.

"Uh, we might want to get out of here..." Whisper rasped. "There may have been another ugly in there that just woke up!"

"Agreed," Koregar said, hefting his axe to his shoulder and moving back down the hall.
