Didn't Ilsthyr already pile the books into his bag?

OOC: Although true the awakening of the skeletons actually happened at the same time and not at various moments. So I decided that some could have examined them before the acquisition.

Another note: Just because someone says "Bob open the door." Doesn't mean it opens until Bob or someone else actually takes the action of Opening the door. The door still remains closed, but unlocked.

Brak skeleton sneers at the rest of the party and yanks open the door and leaps through the portal.

[sblock]OOC: I am sure that I (well, Brak) will pay for this...[/sblock]

Dust waits for the others to start going out of the room, as it rather stays in the back when moving with the group, then proceeds together with the rest of the party.

Cass let's out a clicking hiss as Brak rushes through the portal, "fools..." He cautiously will watch what happens before following, if they are so willing to rush out so be it. Realizing he still has the needle in his finger bone, he plucks it out and holds it up examining it, grinning he tucks it into a fold of his clothes for later use.

Pointlessly muffling a slight cough with a bony hand, Joe simply shakes his head slightly as Brak wrenches open the door. Still, he follows willingly enough; curiosity the driving force in the meantime.

Brak pulls at the door and a pendulum arm with a wicked blade attached swings down from the ceiling. Brak tries to turn with the blade and minimized the damage. He is successful and finds to his surprize that he suffered no ill effects from the trap. Pushing the blade aside, he exits out of the room.

The room beyond is 10 feet deep by 20 feet wide room. On the left stairs descend and on the right is a door. The door that he came through enters through the middle of the wall. Glancing down the stairs, they appear to go for about 20 feet to a 10x10 platform and then turn to the left and continue down. The others follow after him.

OOC: Reflex, damage (8/2=4 - 5 DR = 0)

"Careful, there, we wouldn't want you to die again," Averey scoffs. "Now, move over, let me see if there are footprints or other signs of passage of our master's murderer, and maybe tell where they went, coming or going."

Brak waves Avery forward with his shield arm, "After you..."

Watching Avery pass into the room, Brak idly wonders how a brown skull would shatter under the impact of a battleaxe...or a rat would squish under a boot...

Telemar brings up the rear following cautiously into the room, his bony feet clicking on the floor as he walks, his sword gripped tightly in his skeletal hand.
