OOC: okay...looked back, it was a gray ooze. Jimjar warned you not to use weapons you value on it. This thing looks similar

"I will try to draw its attacks, Orsik, see if you can flame it to death!" Ezraen moves in but takes a defensive position, shifty but making himself look like an easy target.

OOC: Using the dodge action, but trying to interpose myself between the ooze and the others. Has Ezraen noticed the floating drow yet?

OOC: Heh, yeah, I know what they do. That first one, I had Surana run Drum to the water's edge because I was hoping one of the NPCs would hit it and wreck their weapon instead of me. Surana would never have seen one, and I really didn't want to metagame...but I also really didn't want to wreck my sword the first time I used it. ...then it was Ez's turn and he meta'd and just hit it with his sling instead of rapier and I laughed.

OOC: Yeah, it would have sucked if we had lost our weapons right off the bat. In fact, it would suck now as well!

Looks like everyone can go before it (Erevan can roll and go if he beats or ties a 10)

Do you want Orsik to use sacred flame? He could do Burning hands if you want but that's a spell slot.
