Don't you agree guys?

WoTC already allows you to do that in 3.5e, if you get the right metamagic feat from Frostburn (Penetrating Cold?)

The rpg and DDM stats are surprisingly different. Maybe the rpg version is a higher level. The rpg version has a +7 higher AC, +4 higher melee attack, +6 higher average defense, Resist Cold is +15 more, and it has +32 more hit points. The odd thing is that it does the same average damage and is slower.
