Iconics in existing home campaigns

The D&D iconic character Q&A/casting call thread got me thinking...

There must be multiple folks out there running one or more of the iconics in their home campaigns. So...

What level have they reached, what stories are there to tell, and have they developed much in personality beyond the broadly interpretable hints in the D&D adventure game, core books and Monte Cook's miniatures theatre?

On another angle, how much have people been influenced by the messageboard interpretations of these characters?

Hmm... interesting question.
I'm curious which ones seem like adventuring interpretations?

Myself, I think Devis's handy quatrains and such are infuential...

Strange, I have a lot of iconic NPC's for much the same reason :)

I needed characters fast, and it was a bad day for my head.

Gee, I would cast Redger as an NPC lackey of a villain just for the Visceral thrill of imagining Redgar as portrayed by the former forumite of the same name getting stomped into the dirt. :)

Psion, I'm having trouble reconciling this:
...just for the Visceral thrill of imagining Redgar as portrayed by the former forumite of the same name getting stomped into the dirt.
with this:
Psion:...all around nice guy.
   ;)

Perhaps I'm just having a bad head day. :D ;)

P.S. I think the old "I'm not iconic, I'm ironic" Regdar is still kicking about on these forums - see the "Open casting call for iconics- Q&A with our adoring fans" thread.
