Ideas for an uber-munchkin?

wallshot

First Post
ok, i have a little over 2weeks and roughly 200,000 gp to make a level 10 character using the core rules, splat, FRCS, and MoF books. Depending on what we want to use, other sources (such as Dragon Mag) are on a case by case basis.

i will be in a party of 4 players (no idea what they will play but they will prolly wait to hear my idea and mold around that) that will have to crawl thru one of four dungeons and upon reaching the white light at the end of the tunnel....we find ourselves in a grand arena face to face with the remains of 3 others parties and we have to duke it out with them...

so i put to U, the knowledgable community, to provide me with yor ideas for an Uber-Munchkin...one that is fit to both run thru a dungeon and yet still take on a party of players....

im not sure if we will get a chance to restock arrows or potions or charges after the dungeon part.

thanks in advance

first idea is to present you're character to the DM, way before he's ready to run the module.

When he starts to run the thing, inform him you've changed your character and when he asks to see your character inform him that you've done everything right and would welcome him treating your adjudication of your character in the same manner you treat his adjudications of everything else. ie. don't show him what you have.

I'd reccomend having the rest of your party do the same. That way he'll have no idea what you're strenghts and weaknesses are. Then force him to make all rolls out in the open and when you've killed something, force him to show you all the statistics on the creature to insure he hasn't been fudging. If you find fudging, simply repleanish your magic. That will teach him to not fudge in the future.

I'm curious what level you'll be playing at? Cause I have an idea...but I'm not sure how well it will work for you...

level 10, with eq for either a 15th or 16th level character

And while you can use those sources, do you have access to others? *asks cause he kind of wants to test out a theory but is willing to be, this character will be an uber-munckin.*

its on a case by case basis....might allow some things from dragon mag, some S&S, maybe some other 3rd parties, but they all have to be reviewed by the 4 DMs and the uberDM

I was thinking Monk of the Sacred Chains as Pr-class mainly. It's from Calastia: Throne of the Black Dragon. (Alignment restricts to either LN or LE.) It allows you to use a spike chain using your monk unarmed attack bonus. Plus you contine to gain your monk AC modifier and movement speed as if you were a monk of that level (meaning these stack). Plus spell resistance 10+ your level in Monk of the Sacred Chains versus spells from the Enchantment school.

You'd only be a 7th level Monk/3rd Monk of the Sacred Chains...but I imagine you'll be pretty fearsome.

some updates...

one of the players is thinking monk to spellfire wielder? NE idea if this is a good choice? possibly human

ne ideas for a thri-kreen monk?

what about some good eq for high level fun?

keep the ideas coming

Thri-Kreen
Fighter 10

Feats:
Multiattack
Multiweapon fighting
Exotic Weapon (Bastard Sword)
Monkey Grip (for the smaller hands)
Improved Critical (Bastard Sword)

Equipment:
4 +1 Keen Bastard Swords
1 Cloak of Displacement
some other protection magic

You then have a character that has 5 attacks per full attack action... 4 at their Highest attack bonus that do 1d10+Str mod and crit on a 15-20 and 1 at second attack bonus that does the same damage...and there is only a 50% chance of hitting him even on a successful attack!!!
