Identifying tokens?

I was prepping to run Reavers of Harkenwold for my main group tomorrow, when I grabbed the token sheets and just kind of blinked at them. Is there supposed to be a legend or listing of what each token is meant to represent somewhere that I just missed? Or, is it a case of just use whichever one looks closest to what you need? I know at least the ones that came in the Monster Vault have the small headshots within each monster entry in the book, but I can't find anything to identify the ones that came with the DM kit.

I don't have the full DM Kit, but I do have the adventure booklets, and I know that there are some pictures in the second booklet that show three different Iron Circle bad guys and another picture that shows the Tar Devil, if that helps.
