If classes were a color.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I think we've got all the colors covered ;).
I can't really do metallic colors. I use a laserprinter and while there are CMYK values for silver and gold it's not particularly shiny.

What about iconic images? What would be the single defining image of each class?

Barbarian - A club.
(Or a bearded face showing only bridge of the nose and below.)
(Brains don't count.) (The eyes ("ayes") don't have it.)

Bard - A lute. (Nothing else compares.)

Cleric - A book and a candlestick, the second laid atop the first.

Druid - A sickle.

Fighter - A mailed fist. Or the Hennessy "BRAS ARMÉ" design:

Monk - A robe tied with a rope belt.

Paladin - A golden oar. (A golden "or" -- or shield.)
Or a warhorse and a lance; or one or the other.

Ranger - A manger.
(. . . alright, that was unworthy of the question.)
A sturdy, high-topped boot suitable for Long-Striding.

Rogue - A question mark. Better yet, a dirk-and-a-smirk.
(You'll probably want to go with "cloak-and-dagger," though.)

Sorcerer - A wavy dagger or a lightning bolt. Something swerving or jagged.

Wizard - A wand emitting twinkly stars.

ideas:
Barbarian: greataxe
Bard: harp or lute
Cleric: sun
Druid: head of some animal (wolf/owl/bear...etc..)
Fighter: sword
Monk: nunchaku and throwing stars
Paladin: shield
Ranger: longbow
Rogue: mask
Sorcerer: fire/flames of some sort
Wizard: staff

Barbarian: Bleached bone rams skull.
Bard: Green and white jester mask.
Cleric: An ornamental crown wreathed with white light.
Druid: Emerald green thorns.
Fighter: Steel-gray shield with two swords crossed behind it.
Monk: I dunno, an orange fu manchu?
Paladin: Royal blue scepter atop a shield.
Ranger: Leaf green claw of a wild animal.
Rogue: Crimson serpent wrapped around an ornamental dagger.
Sorcerer: Blood red dragon eye.
Wizard: Royal purple cowl.

I can't help but think of "blue wizard needs food badly" :p

Also:
Thief: an open lock.
Rogue: a (flipped) coin
Wizard: some kind of magic book, possibly with an eyeball on the cover.
Fighter: a sword.
Barbarian: a flexed arm.
Druid: a tree in a circle.
Sorcerer: a hand grasping flame.
Ranger: a map (or just an "X" with a trail)
Bard: Tragedy/comedy mask.
Psion: a crystal.

These ones are very hard:
Monk: A fist, or an open palm. Maybe both.
Paladin: an angel (yes, I was grasping for straws here too)
Cleric: their holy symbol (really, this one is hard)

Barbarian - Rough fist wrapped in dirty, bloodied bandages.
Bard - Bright, stylized harp.
Cleric - Open-faced helm with light radiating from inside.
Druid - Branch with a staring owl.
Fighter - A long sword, war hammer and halberd arranged into an asterisk-like figure.
Monk - Single hand raised in prayer beneath a pair of closed eyes.
Paladin - Shield bearing emblem of rampant horses, lions, or similar animal.
Ranger - Well-worn pair of hunting boots.
Rogue - Fine cloak draped over a just-visible dagger.
Sorcerer - Summoning circle in front of a faint, otherworldly face.
Wizard - A receding spiral of runes.

I know you're not taking suggestion about the colors anymore, but I'd still like to spam my reply:

Barbarian = Red (anger, "red mist descends")
Bard = Lavender (in RBG scale it's nearly 100% of everything, "jack of all trades, master of none")
Cleric = White (pure faith, even in those who are evil)
Druid = Light Green (defending nature but also being moderate)
Fighter = Light Blue (the color of steel)
Monk = Grey (modest and humble)
Paladin = Dark Blue (as with fighters, but with strong devotion)
Ranger = Brown (to better hide in the forest)
Rogue = Black (the color of stealth and night)
Sorcerer = Orange (passionate red mixed with yellow of caution)
Wizard = Yellow (The color of aging and the color of caution, which is both practiced by wizards and needed by their enemies)
