DCII, but only if they were absolutely forbidden to print more than one book. I'd buy both the day they came out.

Ditto.

Double Ditto. And add another on the Dungeon Compendium. Maybe 12-15 adventures all in a single massive volume. Heck, they could string together a couple of unrelated mini-APs (like a 1-10 and a 5-15) with a bit of work to button each one up!

Age Of Worms is already all 3.5'ed and I have all the issues. As an AoW hardcover would be nice it isn't a necessity.

There is a lot of great pre-3rd edition articles that are wonerfully fantastic and I would love to see them updated, so DC II gets my vote.

My vote would be neither. My first choice would be a HC collection of either Core Beliefs or Demonomicon of Iggiwilv (spelling?) :p

Ownership of past issues doesn't much matter to me- my Dragon collection goes back to the low 40s, and while my Dungeon collection is relatively small, I still have all of the AoW adventure arc. So what decides the issue for me is utility.

...Meaning DCv2 gets my vote. AoW would be good, but would probably only be useful once I (or another DM in the group) ran it. DCv2 would potentially be useful in any campaign I ran in the future, and might be of use to other DMs.

Since I don't own a lot of Dungeon, however, a Dungeon compendium might be pretty useful- especially if it contained the 3.xEd setting updates that were published in its (and Polyhedron's) pages. Spelljammer 3.5 anyone? (Me! Me! Me! Me!)

Interesting. When purchasing a module, particularly a large one, I'm not thinking in these terms at all. For me, an adventure isn't useful just once. Sure, I can run it once (and more, by the way) as it stands, but my collection of adventures is for me like a pool of ideas I can delve into for inspiration and ideas, to come up with my own stuff or use this or that encounter I would adapt to the circumstances of the present campaign. So for me, a module is useful way more than just once. Different takes and all that jazz, I guess! :)

Well, it all depends upon your gaming group or groups. All but 2 of the groups I've been a part of in 28 years have lasted 3+ years. You simply couldn't run the same stuff with them more than once- they'd remember- and cribbing is tough.

Basically, I get about 2 uses (full runs) or so out of a given module, and perhaps a note or 2, but that is it.

If it goes without saying, why'd you say it? ;)

Seriously EM, DCv1 is one of the best values I've found in the past couple of years. If/when you make DCv2, DCv3, DCvX, I hope you use the standard you set with that one as your baseline, not your ceiling- that way, you'll guarantee yourselves a stellar product.
