if stats are capped at 20

that makes me think of my .01 ---> .20 system
with .20 = 100% of +2,
.09 = 1% of -1,
.19 = 1% of +1 and 99% of +2
.02 = 1% of +2
.01 = 1% of +1

is there an utility in fumbles ( like in -1 ) ?

:)

grmmpf! if a medium stat is 10, and 10 ---> .10 then all pcs would have 0% of fumbles...
so I dunno if the .01--->.20 system can be adapted to 5E ...

I can't make any sense of the numbers here, I don't see how .2 can be "100% of +2" and .19 can be "99% of +2", or why ".09" would be "1% of -1". Explain in more detail how this is working?

ok ( perhaps I ask for pain lol )
the system I refer to is based on the results from a roll of 2d10 ( not 2d20 ok )
with
if d1 and d2 are above stat value ( which ranges .01 to .20 ) then you score a -1
if either d1 or d2 are = or lower than stat value then it is a +0
if both dice are = or lower then it is a +1
and if d1 + d2 = or lower than stat value then it is a +2

of course you tell me I am selling my system,
actually it just came to my mind that both DnD 5E 's stats cap at 20 and my system might get to,,, hem! an arrangement ( sorry I just finished an étape in Baldur's Gate 2 lol )

here is a table :

value %-1 - %+0 - %+1 - %+2 majority of
.01 -- 81 - 18 -- 01 -- 00 -1
.02 -- 64 - 32 -- 03 -- 01 -1
.03 -- 49 - 42 -- 36 -- 03 -1
.04 -- 36 - 48 -- 10 -- 06 +0
.05 -- 25 - 50 -- 15 -- 10 +0
.06 -- 16 - 48 -- 21 -- 15 +0
.07 -- 09 - 42 -- 28 -- 21 +0
.08 -- 04 - 32 -- 36 -- 28 +1
.09 -- 01 - 18 -- 45 -- 36 +1
.10 --- 0 -- 0 -- 55 -- 45 +1
.11 ------------- 45 -- 55 +2
.12 ------------- 36 -- 64 +2
.13 ------------- 28 -- 72 +2
.14 ------------- 21 -- 79 +2
.15 ------------- 15 -- 85 +2
.16 ------------- 10 -- 90 +2
.17 ------------- 06 -- 94 +2
.18 ------------- 03 -- 97 +2
.19 ------------- 01 -- 99 +2
.20 ------------- 00 - 100 +2

What? What do you hope to gain from this?
