List price. But I'd need PHBs for everyone at in my gaming group as well as a DMG, MM, and an adventure, too, otherwise it would be a largely pointless exercise.

I am pretty excited about 4E...but even so, I still chose the Amazon price tag. I won't pay extra for something just to satisfy my curiosity, or to be able to say "neener neener, I saw it before you did." But lots of folks would, and more power to them.

After reading all those responses for big bucks, I can just imagine a few playtesters reconsidering their loyalty to their NDAs...

Myself, I'd pay cover price and then put it on ebay in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even bother opening it. I'll take y'all's money for the book in advance like that, no question.

0 but not for the reason given. I wouldn't pay anything for them because the first printing is almost always rife with material that will later be errataed so I'd prefer to wait a few months till they fix it.

Now if I could get a set of second printing books now I'd pay a considerable amount.

Nothing higher than the price I got on Amazon. I don't need the books early: I've got an M&M game to keep me happy until I can mess around with 4e over the summer (when I've actually got time to devote to it).
