If you could only buy 5 new "old school" modules, which would you pick?

I was just looking at the Goodman Games site yesterday, and, according to them, there is a license deal being made (or that has been made) to convert the Dungeon Crawl Classics (or DCC) line to '1e' (OSRIC, I take it, but either way). Just a heads up, in case you didn't know. Quite interesting news, I thought, and the DCCs are regarded pretty well for the most part, as far as I've heard.

edit --- Aha, link.

No, not OSRIC, the same way they did all their other 1E conversions.

I will also highly recommend "Pod Caverns of the Sinister Shrooms", that module SCREAMED old school to me and was a fun and nearly deadly adventure.

SHROOMS RULE!

I took a double take looking at that cover in blue monocrome. It looked like it walked right out of the early 80s! How many modules is Black Blade going to be putting out (just those listed or more)?

Thanks nightraven!---in addition to using the monochrome look/feel for the DCC conversions, we've also emphasized the "physical product" side of the module design through the dual cardstock covers that are a heavy and durable weight and the blue monochrome maps. They tack on a couple of extra dollars to the price of the module, but we felt that the higher-quality design was worth it.

The listed modules are the ones we've discussed at a high-level with Goodman Games already. I expect we would eventually publish other DCC conversions, too, and we're got other plans in the works as well (that aren't sufficiently firmed-up to really go into any detail on).

It sounds like an investment you made with the card stock, and I really hope you do well. I agree with the choice you made, the original modules really had something unique to them that nothing has been able to recapture (before they jazzed everything up).

So, if you can say, What are the actual modules like in style (will they remind the reader of the early 80s, or are they something unique but still good?)
