All of you people saying that you don't believe in reliving the past are no fun and officially on my Uncool List.
Alright, alright, I'll play, but I can't pick one.....
I'd go back to when I was 15 -- experiencing the tremble that came with my first real passionate kiss; the thrill of trips to the game store at a time (1980), when it seemed like the the rpg world was on fire with new ideas; the adventure of my first out-of-town con (GenCon South in Jacksonville); and the freedom of walking to the beach after school to go surfing before the sun went down.
I'd go back to the nights and weekends in my mid-20s, when I and a big bunch of friends hung out in the Florida Keys -- fishing, drinking beer and dancing to reggae music. We all were having our share of typical troubles adapting to post-college life in the "real world", but we all had each other to lean on and have fun...And we had a LOT of wild fun!
I'd go back to my 30th birthday, which I spent somewhere off the coast of Virginia, sailing a three-masted square rigger -- a typical old pirate ship -- south from Massachusetts to Florida. That day I was exactly where and who I wanted to be in life.
I'd go back to my wedding day, only seven months ago, just to watch the amazing group of friends and family we have enjoy each other's company. Nearly every one of the 120+ people there knew each other, or most of the others, though some hadn't seen each other in years. It was as much a celebration of them as it was for us, and I wish I'd taken more time to soak it all in.
