There are only two classifications, in general, of shields: shield and tower shield. If a class is proficient in "shield" that means all shield except tower: buckler, small, large.

There's exactly two feats for shields: Shield Proficiency and Tower Shield Proficiency. Shield Proficiency is for both light and heavy (and probably buckler, if he's made it. Dunno. I get my books tomorrow or monday)

True, but some PrCs say buckler and small shield only, EXAPLE: Duelist.
So I have to ask.
