If you were to give the Tarrasque Paladin Levels...

PALADIN, remember? It's not as funny if the Tarrasque becomes a behemoth creature of evil. That's been done before.

So, using a halfing on a chain doesn't quite fit with that whole paladin being thing.

The greatsword might work. Or just a longsword or bastard sword, which would be large enough. A blade taller than most buildings, sounds about right.

And if the character gave it decent moral standing, it could become a paladin.
Gaining enough XP to advance inlevel could be difficult, though - there aren't many challenges that would give it XP in most worlds, so it would have to advance via role-playing/quest XP or something like that.

Considering that there's a Paladin Celestial Shadow Flaming Tarrasque running around my homebrew now (thanks to my players and a magical mixup), I can verify that Hieroneous' new pet, in this case, doesn't need swords. The flaming holy horns, claws, etc. do enough by themselves...

The Tarrasque would just eat anyone it encountered, to keep them safe!
All the while thinking, it would do something good and end up in celestia.

Hey, it's not exactly smart. And artificial intelligence doesn't help much. ;)

On the note of giving the big T a big sword... I just went and checked the SRD for rules on increasing weapon damage for size, but it only goes to large. Are there general rules for how to increase damage dice each size step up? I'd like to know how much damage a collossal greatsword does.

Improved Natural Attack suggests:

2d6 --> 3d6 --> 4d6 --> 6d6 --> 8d6

Huh I thought it was something more like this:

2d6 -> 2d8 -> 3d6 -> 3d8 -> 4d6.

But that's just me.

Beta,

Probably cause you've seen too many other anime with very large monsters fighting each other/ large monster shaped mechs.

Thanee,

Hey come on! If they can let silly gnomes into Celestia, a paladin tarrasque with better intentions than say St. Kazgoth should get a look see. :p :)

The new tarrasque looks cuddly;

Just out of curiousity, does anyone make a plushie of one these?

I have a LARP character with Blofeldish tendancies and I think being seen stroking one of these would really freak people out.
