I don't use it. Even with a poster that I think is nitwit I'll read their posts and then either just laugh at them or move along.

I have no one on my ignore list. I can ignore folks I want to without needing to put them on an ignore list. I have also found that occasionally some of my initial impressions about posters are wrong and I actually at least start to see where they are coming from over the course of time. Had I used the ignore list I might have missed out on an idea or opinion that I found useful later on. So no ignore list for me.

I don't use it. If something is unreadable, I skim over it. But I've yet to find anyone who aggrivates me enough to ignore what they have to say. Everyone is entitled to their own ideas.

Guess my writing isn't all that clear here.

It means that sometimes you can just be annoyed at someone because of things that have been said and done previously that you can't let go of them having said. Can you forgive this person for something they said last year in another thread, and listen to the point they are making, or are you just to much about the issues to let it go and listen.

I don't use the ignore list. Even with one guy who got on my nerve but then I can use the scroll button on my mouse to skip posts if I don't want to read them.

I agree the scroll button work perfectly fine for those I don't care for.

I don't use the Ignore list because the people who annoy me the most are usually those that I need to respond to the most, in order to rebut the points that they make and to ensure that they do not mislead other people with their opinions and misperceptions.

I seem to be on quite a few of their ignore lists, though, since most of them don't respond to my posts.
