Illusion Power Inconsistencies

Getting back to the original issue again, I was reading over the powers again and there is actually a very good reason for the "inconsistency" on grasping shadows.

The zone effect of grasping shadows needs to work differently then the hit effect. This is because if the zone effect occurs during the opponent's turn. If it only slowed him until the end of his turn, there is the significant effect it would do nothing because his turn would be over anyway once he entered it.

Illusory pit on the other hand is still slightly inconsistent.

Edit: Also I have a much bigger problems with the fact that grasping shadows seems to be strictly better then Force Orb. It does more damage, doesn't require a hit to a primary target, causes a nasty status effect, and creates a zone of dangerous terrain for the enemy. Force Orb has a little more range, but grasping shadows is still range 10 which should be far enough. It also compares quite favorably to burning hands.
