I'm Back...Sorta

I drink far too much Bushmills on Saturday nights...and Tuesdays...and the off Friday.

I probably should cut back, but between a diet and cutting back on meat I need as much fortification as possible.
A tup or two of good Irish whiskey should make H&S gaming more enjoyable

Cheers,
Gary

Good to see you back, Gary.

I'm glad all the Boréale beer toasts to your health we did finally worked :)

Joël
Perhaps they would have been more efficatious had I been supplied with ample bottles of Boréale to drink along with you

Cheers,
Gary

Glad to see you are getting back in good health and fine spirits Gary.
Yes thanks,

All that is holding me back now is a funky keyboard. My new one is furschimled, and this old one is so worn that I can not read the letters on many of the keys--disaster for a Columbus Method typist such as I :\

Cheers,
Gary

Gary, what you need is an IBM Model "M" keyboard. Not a kind similar to the model M, but a steel-spring return, positive feedback keyboard that goes CLICK when you type on it.

The one I'm using at this very second is fifteen + years old. My "backup" (bought as new old stock) is "only" ten years old; you can find 'em here:

I highly recommend these! They're as tough as nails, they feel great, and for what you get (a keyboard that'll last decades) a great value. :)

Thanks a lot!

I have noted the URL and will see about ordering one soon.

Not a problem. They are awesome keyboards - when I really get going (like...for example, when I'm hard at work on a Yggsburgh city module ;) ) it sounds like cal. .30 fire coming from my office :D

I think you'll really like the keyboard (but order soon - they don't have a great many in stock!)

Seems that my wife means to get me a keyboard that is underlit as I tend to work in low light conditions.

Beer of proper sort is indeed liquid bread.

Cheers,
Gary

Wow, I didn't know you had shingles, sorry to hear that, and I'm glad you're feeling better. I had shingles many years ago, and fortunately caught it very early, so I have no residuals from it, and I hope you don't either.

I'm looking forward to seeing you at Gen Con and hopefully getting your autograph, but of course, your health comes first, so take it easy and get well! :)
