I'm going to DECA state!

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I'm just ecstatic about it. I won in the district conference for my field (Marketing Management) and I'll be representing my district in the state competition. I don't know how I'll do there, but hey, it's all good.

What is DECA?

DECA stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America. They hold conferences concering marketing and business strategies. At my competition, we had to take a 100 question exam and engage in a role-playing scenario (which I thought would have been a shoe-in for me, but it was quite difficult, as we only had ten minutes to prepare).

Congrats, Bloodstone. I was a first-alternate for state my senior year (took first in my district in the exam, but tanked one of the roleplaying scenarios and ended up 21st overall-only the top 20 competed at state) and had a blast at the convention.
