Wow, this thread has produced some fascinating and disturbing insights.
We watched a bit of The Incredibles again tonight, and I think I know why I'm attracted to Elastigirl: she reminds me of my wife. Red hair (though my wife's is more strawberry-blonde) and brown eyes - an unusual combination. Similar figures (at least when Elastigirl isn't stretching...). Same kickass'itude.
(And my wife's bazooms were equally perky, pre-baby...)
Now, if I can just get my wife into red spandex and thigh-high black boots...
