Good Rogue PrC's (min/max)=
1. Arcane Trickster (only at high levels)
2. Soul Knife (more of a Psi-War PrC, then a rogue PrC)
3. Guild Thief (probably best rogue PrC out there (if an only if you would have devoted ranks to the skills that gain the benefits at first level)
4. Fang of Lloth (only good for increasing sneak attacks, however, with multidexterity and multiattack, you get quite a lot of sneak attacks)
5. Thief Acrobat (great concept)
6. Spy Master (great concept)
7. Assassin (only good if you are actually going for the concept as you get the shaft on skill points)
In general taking rogue PrC's hurt because of the loss of BAB which is important to the rogue' already reduced BAB. If going for a melee fighting rogue always take at least one level of ranger and two levels of fighter are nice for the two feats. (Usually combat reflexes and expert tactician (netted)). If going for the missile fighting rogue, again, a few levels of fighter are nice for getting point blank shot and rapid shot.
However, if going for a more versatile rogue, skill points are what is important and in general anything you take will have fewer skill points. PrC's for rogues truly model the concept of PrC's in that you really have to give up something to get a more focused character.
