huh? I wasn't aware either was a feminine or masciline, I just can't spell....

"Masculine" :D

that would explain seeing both spellings around... but I use one pronounciation as gender neutral adn don't worry about the spelling...

Well, just so you know how it can give the wrong impression... I knew you were female, but I don't spend a lot of time in GD... so when I read "... my fiancee...", my first thought - in all seriousness - was "Oh... maybe she's marrying another girl?"

([Seinfeld]Not that there's anything wrong with that![/Seinfeld])

Which made the "chick-half of this duo" note perhaps just a comment on...

... well, I'm going to stop talking there, before I get myself in trouble :)

And I've NEVER added an e to blond to show it was a woman... thats just silly...

That's English. (Well, French, but English isn't picky about where it gets its words :) )

A blonde woman has blond hair. A blond man has blond hair. A blonde man has issues.

What's that? I have a pretty good vocabulary and don't recognize the word...

The senior or eldest member of a group.

Seems like all the english words that do it are derived from the francais, which makes sense.

Yup.

There's a fantastic quote:

"English doesn't borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, hits them over the head and goes through their pockets for loose vocabulary.

Kahuna Burger, many congratulations! 'Course, the marriage ceremony is the easy part of marriage. Then you have kids - or pets - or kids and pets - or twins and pets - or... well, you get the drift. I truly hope you keep finding the time to game!

hey, planning for the ceromony has been my main problem finding time to game lately! As long as we can convince folks to game at our house (and they'll be two of us so we've got a good shot) I don't see a problem... well, unless we end up gaming with a bunch of prudes who freak out the first time I breastfeed at the table.

I wish my wife were a gamer. As it is, I mostly game after she & the kids have gone to bed. I also only game on line since I can't seem to put together more than 30 minutes at a time to get away. I know Gary Gygax's kids became gamers. Maybe it will be the same for some of the rest of us.

So, KB (great beer, BTW), why exactly are you spending what should be your honeymoon time on this here mailing list?

Git! Go! Move it!

Etcetera.
