I thought that was just a pdf... gotta be available at a store to spend the gift certificate...

Lots of monster books out there -- which ones you have now?

The two monster manuals and Minions rebirth on pdf (cause I worship bastion press).

Like I said, I mostly like playable races, with a sideline in animals and beasts. And notes on how monster parts can be used after death or what value they have...

On the shelf at my FLGS.

Hmmm. For playable races, still not to sure the best answer to give there. Liber Bestarius has a few, but I think not as many as Minions does.

For "monster parts", that seems to be one of the things about Monsternomicon.

Just came across your post. That is so great that you got married. Marriage is great & I bet my husband was wishing we would have got gaming certificates from some of our guests, but not like he needs them. We have 2 full sized bookshelves almost completely full of gaming books of all kinds & that is even with us not buying books for the past almost 2 yrs or so because when we moved out of state I didn't have a job & am still unemployed. My husband is a full time student working on his masters & doctorate, so that really doesn't bring in much, but it has been the happiest time in my life. We have now been very happilly married for over 4 years.

Wedding planning can be pretty hectic, but I don't think mine was as hectic as yours was. We took around 5 or 6 months to plan ours & even then things were hectic. I think near the end, we almost wished we had just eloped or something like that. The honeymoon sounds great. Hope that you guys have a very happy married life.

Also there can be hope out there for other gamers. You don't necessarily have to marry someone who is already a gamer. I am a converted gamer. I didn't start playing until after I married my husband & I absolutely love it, so don't give up just because there isn't many female gamers out there. You can convert them to it.

Kickass, KB! Congrats!

Oh, and I always knew you were a woman. I can't think of any self-respecting guy who'd have a CAT for his avatar. (snicker, snicker, snicker)

(Looks over at P-Kitty. Winces. Edges nonchalantly toward door.)

I was married recently, as well (Sept. 6th, to be exact). While we didn't receive any gaming gifts, we did GIVE them! I had 5 groomsmen who all gamed...how could I pass that up? So, the 5 groomsmen each received a custom dice bag from the Gamers Bag...oh, and the maid of honor also received one (we couldn't leave her out too).

:D

Me too, me too! Congrats, Kahuna_Burger! And, my condolendes to the hubby if he ever disagrees with you, cuz I've been in an arguement with you (oh but it was fun, lol).
Hope the day was as grand as you make it sound. :)

And I'll second francisca's comment. Marriage is a wonderful thing.
