I have a question regarding how Powers that grant an immediate saving throw work with enemy powers that trigger off of failed saves. Does failing *any* saving throw against a particular condition trigger the Xth Failed Save: portion that the condition may have?
For example: A party is facing off against a Medusa, who uses her Petrifying Gaze power on the party Rogue. It hits, and the Rogue is slowed (save ends.) If the rogue fails his saving throw against the slowed effect at the end of his turn, he becomes immobilized (save ends.)
Hoping to keep the Rogue mobile, the party warlord (whose initiative is higher than the rogues) uses Shake It Off, which grants the Rogue an immediate saving throw outside his normal turn.
If the rogue fails the immediate saving throw granted by the Warlord, would the First Failed Save: condition apply and cause the rogue to be immobilized before his turn even started? Taking it one step further, if the Rogue was given two immediate saving throws by some means before his own turn, and fails both, would he be instantly petrified?
I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
