That was cruel of you. I love it. Good job DMing. You really pulled off a great trick on your players. How is the player taking it? How many of your players could hold in the laughter when you told him?

I would have been laughing like a mad man if that happened to someone. ROFLMAO.

The real problem was the fact that he was the one who scouted ahead. The other character's didn't know what had happened to him. I had to pull him aside and tell him that if he gave up the secret, he was dead, no matter what. IF he played along with me and kept quiet, I would play by the letter of the rules, which meant he had a chance, however slim.

When we returned we were both quiet and made some of the rolls. When the results were in, I gave him a sign (no one else caught it) and then declared to the table that "he was in a new situation." They figured he had been teleported.

When they finally stumbled on the scene, they saw that he was toast on the platform. The group quickly thought it must have been one of the pools...


I've rolled for his gear. Amazing what you can put in a bag of holding. And to think, cloth only has a hardness of 1, if you are being generous... All items irrevocably lost... I will have to remember that!

I give too much away anyway....
