I voted both unillustrated PDF and hardcopy. Illos are good, but ink is expensive...

Again I agree. I think those who are interested will either go for Unillustrated .pdf + Hardcopy OR Illustrated .pdf version alone. But it will interesting to see how the poll develops.

Hello Upper_Krust! Hope you are well. ;)

I'm doing great thanks for asking mate, I trust you are well yourself!? :)

I too favour a hard copy for much the same reasons as A2Z. It's also more satisfying to have a professionally bound volume than it is to have a ream of loose sheets or a DIY binding.

I think .pdfs certainly have their uses, but if its a choice between one or the other obviously the hardcopy will almost exclusively be the prefered choice.

More importantly, if you have a slow or unreliable connection, pdf's are a nuisance.

So I gather.

Hi Information mate! :)

Haven't heard from you in a while - hope your keeping well!?

Voted for illustrated hard copy.

Thanks! :)

I am very excited about the Deities and Demigods book.

Me too! :D

I am sure WotC don't need me to sell their products for them but I think the second quarter 2002 line up from WotC is the best ever (from a personal perspective anyway), with Deities & Demigods being the pick of the bunch (for me).

I also look forward to checking out your material as well.

I appreciate the interest mate! :)

I should have mentioned this in my first post. I've been eagerly awaiting the Worshipper Points System since it was started more than a year ago. I've followed (or at least tried to) all the pages and pages that have been posted on this subject and the bottom line is, no matter what format the book takes I would buy it. Of course if there is definitly going to be a hard copy after the PDF release I'd like to know ahead of time so I can wait for that format.

Congradulations UK on all the hard work. I'm glad it's paying off.

I appreciate the support A2Z mate (and everyone else out there)

It´s been a long road, getting from there to here.
It´s been a long time, but my time is finally near.
And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky.
And they´re not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna change my mind.

Cause I´ve got faith of the heart.
I´m going where my heart will take me.
I´ve got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I´ve got strength of the soul. And no one´s gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I´ve got faith, faith of the heart.

No prizes for guessing what show I watched earlier tonight. Lyrics seem appropriate on a number of levels. ;)

There is no "Other" option!!!!

Personally couldn't you cut it down a little 272 pages as a PDF?

Primal Order was 190 pages (illustrated) if you don't count all the rules for adapting it to different systems.

Why so big?

I've voted for a hardcopy book, as they're just far more convieniet for me than a .pdf. Looking forwards to seeing it hit print in what ever form :)

Sorry mate! I'm new to this polling malarkey. ;)

I don't think so; I had the actual book at 320 pages but I removed one of the chapters to reduce the size (The Persian Mythos/Pantheon chapter), which may be released as a seperate .pdf/product at a later date.

Perhaps when the publishers have the finished work in their possession they may suggest a few omissions, who knows!?

It may be possible to divorce the Prestige Class chapter (as with the Persian chapter, to be released at a later time); some of the Appendices might be slimmed too (notably Rainbow Killers and Uber-Mortals).

Prestige Class Chapter 22 pages
Rainbow Killers/Uber-mortals 12 pages

So your still going to be talking about 240 pages or so.

But personally I am very happy with the overall shape of the document as it currently stands.

I think you may be forgetting the other three books.

Then again, the layout of those books was a tree-killer; at best 600 words per page, I have close to double that.

I don't like selling people short.

Hi there Psychotic Dreamer! :)

I would have to say hardcopy is the best option since it is so long. I would not want to print out a 272 page PDF file.

I agree the thought of printing out such a document may cause some concern, although the beauty of the .pdf format is that you only have to print out the pages you want.
