Improved Feint vs Improved Uncanny Dodge

Ok, so if Improved Uncanny Dodge precents you from losing your dex bonus to AC when surprised, or flanked etc due to great reflexes.

and Improved Feint denies an opponent his dex bonus to ac because of a very convincing feint

what happens when you use improved feint on someone with uncanny dodge?

does it work? or does Improved Uncanny Dodge still work even though they fell for the feint?

Uncanny Dodge prevents you losing your Dex bonus due to being flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker.

Improved Uncanny Dodge prevents you being flanked.

Neither prevents you losing your Dex bonus due to a successful feint.

(Cue the 'even if' argument... now :) )
