Improved Grab and AOO

Then I think we have reached an empasse.

I consider the text from Bull-rush to be a base-line for rulings when a character is moved by another character in such a manner that they trip an AoO due to leaving a threatened square. {this semantics better ? :) }

Others consider the text from Bull-rush to be an additional special effect unique to the bull-rush attack.

I don't beleive either side will be perusasive enough to alter the opinoin of the other... but I will be lurking and may rejoin if the conversation gets past this point.

Its been a pleasure :)

The key for me, however, is that Improved Grab has specific text to negate the AoO while the others do not, or like in the case of bull rush, explicitly say that an AoO is provoked.

Yup. and there is the other disagreement. I see the text as reading that the act of dragging the victim has immunity to the AoO...not quite the same thing as the victims involuntary movement being immune....

true, its semantics. But often that is all that WOTC leaves us with :)
