In the Depths of Blackwater is the first book in a series that details the town of Blackwater.
Layout: The book is done in a comicbook format with a card stock cover. The book is laid out very well and makes excellent use of available space. There is a full page picture I think is upside down.
Content: This is why I gave the book a 4. Not only does the book detail the history of Blackwater, but you get a new class, two new races, and 3 new monsters. I also really liked the history of the town and whats going on. I have actually placed Blackwater in my campaign world.
Value: I felt I got my money's worth. It is well written and nicely laid out.
