I'm a little surprised that 3E is in the lead. Personally I thought 1E was the half-orc heydey.

I don't remember having anyone play a half-orc in my AD&D days. They weren't an attractive roleplaying choice for my group. As an effective race there was human or multi-classed non-human (only in campaigns expected to end before high levels - which was most of them).
