Camelot
Adventurer
Income_Subsystem
Adventurers are sort of like freelancers. They don't have a steady income; they only get money when they get hired to do a one-time job, or if they find it lying around. Just like freelancers, adventurers (from a realistic perspective) would probably have a steady job for when they weren't adventuring. Some are hired with a steady wage, and simply need to keep performing well in order to stay hired. Others are entrepreneurs who put their own money into running a business, which provides a great profit if the owner is willing to take a few risks. A DM could simulate this by just taking treasure from the allotted parcels, but these subsystems allow you to replicate actual work, risk, and profit.
